Who writes this
I'm Tim Hennig, General Manager, Boutique-Hotel Matlai in Michamvi Pingwe, Zanzibar. I live on Zanzibar's east coast year-round — I've woken up to the Kusi winds, watched the tide pull back a kilometre by midday, and made the Serengeti-to-sea journey more times than I can count.
WildToSea exists because most Tanzania and Zanzibar advice is written by people who visited for ten days, or never came at all. The promise here is simple: first-hand, specific, current — real distances, real prices, real seasons — and honest recommendations, including the boutique hotel I run.
Every guide carries something only someone on the ground would know. That's the whole point.
